~ Plaster Finishes ~

In this multilayered finish, the walls were first painted in sage green, then stenciled in a darker shade to create an allover "harlequin" design pattern. A decorative plaster was then troweled on, and glazed over. Finally the harlequin pattern outlines were accentuated, so as to simulate a "bleeding" through the aged plaster.

For over two decades now Venetian Plaster has come to replace traditional glazing as a well sought after wall finish, particularly although not exclusively in a commercial setting. As a

result a myriad of plaster products have sprung into the market. Below are two projects where we used an acrylic based Venetian Plaster finish.
